Mason County GEAR UP Facilitators Carla Grady, Teresa Murphy, Scarlet Enos, and Jacklyn Kennedy attended the GEAR UP Program Staff Meeting September 14th Program Staff Meeting at the Marshall University Bill Noe Flight School! They received a tour of the facility and got to learn about opportunities in aviation for students, participate in a flight simulation, and have a chance to win one of three aircraft rides! #GEARUPworks

I was able to assist Miss Cottrill today in utilizing the "Gallery Walk" strategy with her 2nd-period Biology students. This is a research-based strategy to help students collaborate, summarize, and discuss important information. It is always great to see our students engaged and excited about learning.
